Questions?

Question: What's the difference between a wedding planner and a day of coordinator? As a day of wedding coordinator my job is make sure that your wedding day goes as you've planned and envisioned. This includes setting up a detailed timeline, making sure any commonly overlooked pieces are put in place in advance, managing the logistics, and putting out the "fires" that might come up that day - but all aligned with your plans, feelings, and vision for the day. A wedding planner will work with you to actually plan your wedding, the design, and more.

Question: Do I really need a day of wedding coordinator? If you (and your family) want to be able to relax to enjoy your day, the answer is generally yes. The simple truth is that a wedding has a lot of moving pieces and parts, including different vendors, unexpected issues that need taken care of, and if you want time to get to everything, requires that someone keep the day on schedule. Unless you and your family are going to manage all of this and answer all of the vendors' and guests' questions throughout the day, we highly recommend that if you don't have a planner, you obtain the services of a day of wedding coordinator.  Remember, this is your wedding day - you want to be able to enjoy it!

Question: What exactly do you do on my wedding day? I step in as "you" behind the scenes! What does this mean? I work to ensure that your wedding day goes as you've envisioned for all of these months (or years!). This includes making sure vendors are confirmed, the cake is dropped off, wedding programs and last minute decorations are out,  family questions are answered, flowers go to the right people, vendor payments are distributed, and gifts and cards get to the right place.  It also includes coordinating the wedding ceremony and flipping spaces when needed. I manage and handle logistics and all of the unexpected surprises so that you don't have to worry about them. I also ensure that your day stays on schedule so that you get to everything!

Question: Do you come to the rehearsal dinner? Generally no.  But we'll definitely talk through the ceremony and bridal party when we meet and at the site visit so that I can work with the officiant and DJ to direct the wedding procession.

Question: Is a deposit required? Yes.  A non-refundable 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. Another 25% is due one week before the wedding and the remainder of the payment is due the day of the wedding.

Question: How much do your services cost?  My Day of Wedding Coordinator Package pricing starts at $800.  Send me an email to set up a time to chat and I can provide a detailed quote.

Question: What do I need to have to book your services? All you need is a date and a venue booked!

Question: How far in advance do I need to book your services? The best case is at least 6 months before your wedding day, but you can book me up to a couple of weeks before your wedding, subject to availability.
